Why Full Circle?

Debbie and Jason

Being small, flexible, and creative, our goal is to provide a personalized and comprehensive service to all our clients (donors and tax credit buyers) and make the time and effort required by you as little as possible.  When we discuss your needs and goals we are always open to seeking options that provide viable and mutually beneficial results.

We live on Jason's homeplace in Southwest Virginia, where his family has lived since the mid-1700s. We've been involved in conservation and rural community work and our own businesses for over 50 years.

Full Circle has, for 22 years, been our full-time family business, not a sideline business. It merges our experience in farming and forestry, accounting and investment, homebuilding, retail, and teaching with a love for rural communities.

We strive to be the type of organization that we would want to do business with ourselves.

Additionally, in a process that is brand new to most people, we are glad to offer you the benefits of our experience:

  • Donated the first Conservation Easement in Pulaski County in 2002, another in 2005, and a third in 2017;

  • Transferred the first Virginia Land Preservation Tax Credit in the Commonwealth (2003);

  • Engaged in education, landowner assistance, and tax credit sales for 22 years; and

  • Developed working relationships with donors, buyers, land trusts, and various professionals who will provide references upon request.

Disclaimer:  We are not professional CPAs, appraisers, or attorneys, but we can recommend those who are and who ALSO have adequate experience with conservation easements and tax credit.
